Privacy & Cookie Policy
This page explains what the Storytale website (www.storytale.co.id) does with personal data, which cookies and browser storage it uses, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
The website is run by Storytale (PT. Cerita Nusantara Asia), an independent game studio in Indonesia, which is responsible for the data described here. For anything about your privacy, write to contact@storytale.co.id.
What we collect, and why
- Hosting logs. Our host, Vercel, records technical details of each request (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This is based on our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
- Analytics, only if you agree. With your consent, Google Analytics records which pages are visited, roughly from which country, on which kind of device, and for how long. Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses. We have turned off Google's advertising features and signals, and we never use this data for advertising.
- Embedded media. The Watch section can show live streams and videos from Twitch and YouTube. Players only load when you click them, or by themselves if you allow "Embedded media". Once loaded, Twitch and YouTube handle data under their own policies. Video thumbnails are fetched from YouTube's and Twitch's image servers, which receive your IP address.
- Fonts for Asian languages. When the site is shown in Japanese, Korean or Chinese, the matching fonts are fetched from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. All other fonts are served from our own site.
- Email. If you write to us, we use your message and email address to reply, and keep them only as long as needed for that conversation.
We do not sell or share personal data, do not run ads, and do not build profiles of visitors. Checking whether anyone is streaming Pamali happens on our server and sends no data about you. On phones whose browser shares it without asking, the tilt of your device moves the light on the page; it is read only inside your browser and never sent or stored. The site never asks for access to motion sensors.

You can change your choice at any time. Withdrawing analytics consent removes the Google Analytics cookies from this site.

These providers may process data outside Indonesia and the European Union. Where required, such transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP), the EU and UK GDPR, and California privacy law, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how it is used, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to contact@storytale.co.id and we will answer within the time the law requires. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our games are horror games, and this website is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change affects your consent, the site will ask you again.
